TAIAO brings together a community of likeminded thinkers across a number of disciplines to share data and build capacity in the environmental space. The TAIAO platform allows data scientists to view and share datasets and notebooks, access software and tutorials, and have discussions with the wider TAIAO community.

Hackathon
The AI Hackathon is returning for another year from 14th - 17th August 2025.
Go along to learn how AI can solve real-world problems. Build skills, connect with others, make an impact, and meet inspiring mentors.

AI Summit
The AI Forum of New Zealand is bringing back another Aotearoa AI Summit on 18th September 2025.
The summit focuses on showcasing how intelligence can be practically applied to the real world. It will include hearing from well known speakers, panel discussions, workshops and roundtables that will provide insight into the potential of AI in Aotearoa NZ.
TAIAO Summer School
TAIAO is excited to present to you a summer school course. This is currently still being developed and will hope to be ready for delivery in 2026.
